Echo Poster expands mobile DOOH network with centralized CMS management powered by CITY SCREEN

The project unifies the management of 3D LED Trucks, Bikes, Spheres and Backpacks within a single cloud-based CMS environment (City Screen CMS CS Play), improving operational efficiency and campaign scalability.

Echo Poster, CITY SCREEN and Geo Data announced the successful deployment of a centralized content management infrastructure for Echo Poster’s mobile Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising network.

The project covers multiple types of mobile digital advertising equipment, including 3D LED Trucks, LED Bikes, LED Spheres, and LED Backpacks, enabling unified campaign and content management across the entire mobile inventory.
Prior to the implementation, content operations were managed in a decentralized way across different device types and operating systems. Campaign setup required manual uploading of creatives and individual configuration of playback devices, which increased operational complexity and limited scalability.

By implementing the CMS CS Play platform developed by CITY SCREEN, Echo Poster established a centralized cloud-based workflow for campaign management and content distribution. The system remotely generates and synchronizes playlists across all connected screens and media players, regardless of hardware format or operating system.

The deployment includes support for Linux Ubuntu-based mini PCs used in 3D LED Trucks and LED Bikes, as well as Android-based devices powering LED Backpacks.
As a result, Echo Poster achieved:

  • centralized management of mobile DOOH inventory;
  • faster campaign setup and execution;
  • unified workflows for content operations;
  • improved transparency and control over campaign delivery;
  • remote management capabilities;
  • consolidated campaign reporting across multiple media formats.

The project also enables Echo Poster to provide advertisers with greater flexibility in running mobile DOOH campaigns across diverse digital formats within a single operational environment. In addition — CMS CS Play is a fully Programmatic-ready solution that enables Echo Poster in the future to use its DOOH mobile inventory in the programmatic DOOH scenarios.
